Los Gatos scored in five of the six innings played and freshman Lynsey Chiala limited the Eagles to just four hits as the Wildcats improved to 8-2 in league play with a 12-2 win at Los Altos Tuesday.
The Cats set the tone early with three runs in the first and four more in the second to take a 7-1 lead. Mira Sharma had three hits and two RBI, freshman Sara Sharma had two hits and four RBI, and Alaana Panu had two hits and scored three times to pace the offense.
Mira Sharma, Amber Kelly, and Seraphina Vossen each hit doubles in the 12-hit attack. Lynsey Chiala tossed six innings, giving up just four hits and striking out three to pick up her sixth win of the year. Los Gatos improved its overall record to 17-5.
